They say it takes a village — and it certainly does. Throughout the past two decades, CASE’s team has grown from just our three founders to over forty global employees.

We’re here to shine a light on our talented team members and their work behind the brands. Today we’re getting to know one of our resident strategy experts, Gayatri Menon. Read on to learn a little bit about the Mumbai-born strategy superstar.

What do you do at CASE?

I’m a strategist.

What does that mean, exactly?

I’m a researcher, dot-connecter, pattern-finder, and insight-seeker – my job is to figure out the best way to achieve our client’s goals by unlocking the magic formula for why their target audience would choose their brand over everyone else, and then helping translate that into creative development.

How many years have you been at CASE?

I’ve had the pleasure of working here for 4 years, after starting out as an Account & Strategy intern back in 2019.

What's your zodiac sun sign?

Pisces - they’re known to be quite imaginative, dreamy, creative, and highly in tune with others’ emotions.

What was your dream job growing up?

To be a “superstar” … my email address in the 3rd grade was supa_sta7@hotmail.com.

What’s your favorite part of CASE?

I feel immensely lucky to work with such talented and kind humans every day. Whether I’m brainstorming audience personas with our Strategy team, or huddling around a designer’s desk to see the new campaign they’re working on, I am constantly inspired by how much passion and intention goes into every detail.

Plus, where else can you start your work day with a debrief on the latest TMZ article, compete in a chicken nugget eating challenge over lunch, and wrap up your evening with a murder mystery party?

Where are you from?

I’m a third culture kid at heart so this is always a tricky question to answer… born in Bombay, India —> Hong Kong —> Bangalore, India —> Washington DC —> New York!

What’s your superpower (in a work context)?

Surfing the web at Google speed. If I have a gut feeling that the answer to my question is somewhere online, I’ll find my way down the right rabbithole to get there. Need to find that copywriter for a campaign you liked? Curious what moment sparked a trend? I’m your girl.
